My new CPAP-Machine centric band 'SLEEP STUDY' + Chin Up, Moned, B.N.D May 24, 7pm @ Bigfoot's

24MAY25

MONED’s 4th time playing BFHoV.
Each time is special but this one has an endearing backstory:
Topher of @chinfuckingup placed me on a lineup back in November at The Charleston which was my first time performing there.
Since, I have played The Charleston three more times, will play there at least three more times this year, have organized three shows there, and will be organizing at least one more show there this year.
Topher, thank you for the influence you’ve had on me.
CHIN UP’s posi-violence/hard/grindcore set is gonna rattle the display records off the wall.

Moe, @b.n.d_therappinfiend, is a recently acquired friend and a great one at that.
With an active imagination and the talent to back it up, I saw B.N.D’s first performance.
He floored that audience.
A testimony to something much bigger to come.
There’s a live hip hop show desert in Bremerton.
I want to change that as much as I can.
This is one of a million good reasons I invited Moe to be on this lineup.
This’ll be his second show w/ a set at Seattle’s Substation to follow the next night.
Moe’s gonna rapid fire heavy spits w/ hooks in tow.

SLEEP STUDY, aka Garrett Kelly @boontdustie.
We go some ways back.
Being new to Seattle in late 2010, I quickly learned about Garrett’s @hollowearthradio (I co-organized & performed some shows there + a monthly radio program in 2012).
We bonded over the grunge golden days of the PNW.
We went to each other’s shows, supported each other’s noise-centric projects/bands.
This’ll be Garrett’s first Bremerton performance since moving over to this side of P-Sound in 2017/18.
Word is the set will include creating sounds w/ CPAP machines.
If you know Garrett, his eccentricates, and askew creativity… you truly don’t know what to expect aside from it being mind-splitting.

Then there’s BF’s proprietors Clint & Mandi who continue to keep their store open a few hours extra to support local live music/noise/etc.
They foster artists by giving them a platform in this venue-tight city.
You two deserve endless appreciation.

Join us.
Bring friends.
Buy records & merch.
Dig the fun.
Enjoy this diverse lineup.
This thing’s gonna crush.
