Anyone have a Neocities site?

DIY vintage websites :slight_smile:

I was starting one! Should we make a “webring” @erika?

Yeah! Bremerton webring? Or just a weirdo one haha

I’m not going to look at any page that doesn’t have an animated GIF odometer web counter. And maybe some animated flame horizontal rules.

I have a super boring one I abandoned but my friends have great ones about the glory of worms and steak pics.

I feel the urge to make more now. Maybe one themed after a chao garden or to document the stickers I see around Bremerton.

Ooh what’s a chao garden!

@Erika did you make one?

It’s a Sonic Adventure 2 thing hehe. Every sonic fan wishes SEGA would bring it back but they hate money I guess. You raise little chaos and build up their stats for competitions. Their appearance changes based on what you feed them or if they are raised by good or bad sonic characters.

Game aside I want a website with this aesthetic. I mean look at those clouds and glorious saturated colors.

I haven’t made one yet since I’ve been too busy with making stock for an upcoming market (that and garden stuff has taken over my past few weeks)! But will let you know once I have something

I was gonna help my 11-year-old make one for all his special interests (D&D lore or whatever tickles his fancy. Maybe your little rogue might be interested in that too?). Thought it would be a good opportunity to learn basic html/css stuff.

I had wanted to compile a static site of resources and basic necessities for Bremerton (@F.R.O.G.Soap and @BobSteva have compiled some of that stuff already, so full credit to them)
